Industry reports

Industry report services that get your research seen and cited

We research, write and design industry reports published under your name, on your website. Then we put them in front of your market: journalists, AI tools and the buyers you want to reach.

Our industry reports are for marketing teams in fintech, payments, crypto, iGaming and other technical fields that want to be the source their industry quotes, and to turn that attention into coverage and leads.

What we build

What you get in an industry report

An industry report is original research about your market, published under your company's name. It brings together data nobody has put together yet, explains what it shows, and gives journalists, analysts and AI tools numbers they can quote.

Done well, it becomes the market research report your sector points to, and the thought leadership report your sales team sends to prospects.

A finished report, part by part

Every report we deliver has the same five parts. Together they make it easy to read, easy to trust and easy to quote.

01

Findings

Each finding is stated as a clear number first, then explained in a short paragraph, so a journalist or an AI tool can quote it as it stands.

02

Charts

Every key finding gets its own chart. Each chart carries your company's name and the report as its source, so it still credits you when someone reuses it.

03

Methodology

A short note on what the report measures, where the data comes from and the period it covers. Journalists check this before they cite a number.

04

The page on your website

The report lives on your own website, not on a press release site. Every link and citation it earns points to you.

05

Launch assets

A press kit journalists can download from the page, and the pitch we send to the news and industry media your market reads.

After launch

Coverage, citations and leads

A finished report is only the start. See how we put it in front of your market.

Four report formats

Every report is built the same way. What changes is the question it answers.

Industry report

A full picture of one part of your market: its size, its players and the forces shaping it. Fits any sector with a question nobody has measured.

Benchmark report

How companies compare on the numbers that matter, such as costs, approval rates or response times. Useful in payments and fintech, where buyers compare providers.

State of the industry report

A snapshot of where a sector stands this year. Run every year, an annual industry report becomes the one people wait for.

Trend report

What is changing over time, and why. A good fit for crypto and payments, where new regulation can move a market within months.

Timeline

From topic to launch

Building a report takes about two months, from choosing the question to a designed report on your website. You approve the topic before we collect any data.

  1. Topic

We find a question your buyers struggle with and nobody has proper data on.

  2. Data

We collect the data: a survey of your market, public data, or your company's own data.

  3. Analysis

We work through the data and pull out the findings worth reporting.

  4. Writing

We write the findings, the explanations and the methodology note, and you approve the draft.

  5. Design

We design the charts and the report, and build the page on your website.

After launch

After launch: coverage, citations and leads

A report nobody sees is a cost. A report that gets seen keeps working for months. After launch, we put it in front of your market in four ways.

News coverage

We pitch the findings to journalists at the news and industry sites your market reads. When they report them, they link to your page. See digital PR.

AI citations

Original numbers are what AI tools look for when they choose a source. We work to get your findings into the places they cite. See AI SEO and brand mentions and citations.

Leads

Paid ads put the report in front of the buyers you want, and a gated download turns their interest into contacts. See B2B demand generation.

Articles

Each finding can become an article on your blog that ranks in Google and links back to the report. See SEO content writing.

FAQ

Questions about industry reports

Should we do an industry report, a survey or a white paper?

Choose an industry report if you want your sector to cite your numbers and journalists to cover them. Choose a survey when the numbers you need only exist in people's answers, such as their plans, problems or opinions; the survey then becomes the data behind a report. Choose a white paper when your buyers need a problem and its solution explained in depth before they buy. You can also combine them: a survey feeds a report, and the report's findings support a white paper.

What do you need from our team?

Three things: some expert time, data access and approvals. An expert on your side helps us choose the question and checks the findings make sense. If we use your own data, we need access to it, and you approve the topic, the draft and the final report before anything goes live.

How long does an industry report take, and can we run it every year?

About two months from the first call to a finished report on your website. Running a survey or waiting for data access can add time, so we agree the plan at the start. And yes, you can run it every year: a report that comes back each year gives journalists a reason to return to it, and becomes the annual industry report your sector waits for.

Who owns the data and the report?

You do. The report is published under your name, on your website, and the data collected for it is yours to reuse. If we use your company's own data, we only publish the findings, never the raw data.

Should the report be gated?

Usually, part of it. Keep the key findings open on your website, because journalists and AI tools can only cite what they can read. Put the full report behind a short form if you want leads, so readers who want the detail leave their contact details.

Is ad spend separate?

Yes. If you promote the report with paid ads, the ad budget goes to the ad platforms and is kept apart from our work. You decide how much to spend, and you see exactly where it goes.
